Resupply Information

Hello friends,

I've had many people reach out via the store's contact form , so I thought it would be good to post an announcement here--something I haven't done before, but now seemed a good time to test it. 

Every piece of jewelry here at Unearthed Emporium is handmade to order in the US. I (Jake Stormoen) run the entire company myself, which includes designing the pieces to writing the lore, hiring artists and artisans to bring those designs to life, and then I do all the fulfillment and shipping. 

In order to find a balance with all of this (as my full time job is that of an actor and filmmaker), I keep what I call "phantom" stock listed on my site: a few of each item. This allows customers to place orders without me receiving an unexpected order for a thousand pieces which would take many months to fulfill. The order comes in, I have the fabrication process queued up with my artisans, and a few weeks later a beautiful artifact exists for the customer. 

In some cases--with items that are one size fits all/most, like the medallions and coin--I will pay my artists to make 5-10 extra so I can have them on hand for faster shipping, and I will recoup that money when they sell. 

For the Seeking Persephone pendants specifically, I had 55 pieces made ahead of time, thinking that would last me many months. It didn't last 24 hours. 

This is obviously amazing, and I am so beyond grateful...but sadly, it remains just me doing all the work to get these items to their new homes on top of a very busy film schedule (on that note, thank you for your patience, friends!). 

As soon as I can get through all 55+ orders (and I'm moving as fast as I can, I promise--both on the Seeking Persephone pendants and other made-to-order pieces which have also been ordered), then I will slowly add the "phantom" stock to pendants like I do with my other pieces. 

I will announce on social media (@JakeStormoen) when that happens, but would ask that you refrain from continually emailing asking for updates or pre-orders in the meantime; I promise I am working as quickly as I can, and hope to be getting these beautiful items to as many homes as possible for years to come.
